Appearance Retention:
How long carpet will have its "new-like" appearance is affected by the twist level of the fiber.  Twist is the number of times a fiber is twisted together in a one inch length.  Generally, the tighter the twist, the better the performance rating.

Wear Resistance:
The more tightly carpet fiber or yarn is stitched into the carpet backing, the more it will provide comfort and resistance to wear.  Greater weight and density will enhance wear resistance and result in a higher performance rating.

Stain Resistance:
The fiber used in manufacturing this carpet has enhanced stain resistant properties to inhibit staining.  Bear in mind, no carpet is 100% stain proof.

FHA Approved:
This quality carpet is certified as prescribed by Bulletin UM-44d for use in projects for the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  This certification does not constitute an endorsement of this carpet by any agency of the United States Government.
